Trading Post on Saturday, March 23rd and 20% of YOUR purchase will benefit the St. Joseph Children’s Home. The proceeds from this Benefit Shopping Day will toward
funding the Therapeutic Residential Treatment Program at St. Joe’s. The owners of Lexie’s Trading
Post have ALWAYS felt that in tuff economic times that it’s more important than
ever to Help Those that Cannot help themselves.
That’s why they've partnered with St. Joseph Children’s Home’s Therapeutic Residential Treatment Program because their mission is one of:
“The Residential
Treatment Program annually serves 70 of the most abused children in Kentucky
ages 5-15. The children have experienced severe emotional, physical or sexual
abuse, and/or neglect. It was established
in 1980, and serves girls and boys referred from the Kentucky Cabinet for
Families and Children who are wards of the state. The children have special
needs which may be emotional, behavioral, medical, intellectual or
developmental in nature. Children live at St. Joe’s for about a year in order
to receive intensive therapy to help them be prepared to move to “forever
families” – mostly foster care/adoptive homes.”
