Wednesday April 22nd we are having a Shopping Benefit Day fro Laurie Dobbins.  Come shop and 20% of your purchase will help Laurie reach her goal fro Woman of the Year.

I was diagnosed with Thyroid Cancer at the age of 30.  Although the news was devastating, it wasn’t debilitating.  After surgery, hormone therapy, and radiation, I am now 8 years cancer free! Lexie’s Trading Post is Hosting Animal House on March 29^th’s F.A.T. Trolley Weekend!!! 

We are THRILLED to be again hosting a Pet Adoption on March 29th’s Trolley Weekend, now with the City of Louisville’s Animal HouseAdoption Center!  Come by and Adopt a Family Pet in need of a Good Home!

Lexie’s Trading Post has ALWAYS been committed to helping our furry, four-legged friends find a GREAT and loving home!  In these tuff economic times, Lexie’s Trading Post is even MORE committed in helping these animals, the shelters and their staff with much needed items, gifts and adoption assistance.  These people do AWESOME work and Lexie’s Trading Post is more than happy to help in any way we can.

Pets will be available for adoption for March’s Frankfort Avenue Trolley Night (F.A.T. Trolley Hop), Friday, March 29^th from 5-8:00pm. The Animal House Adoption Center will have staff on hand to answer any and ALL questions about adoption, the shelter, as well as, setting up onsite adoptions for interested families.

Also, a “Wish List” provided by Animal House Adoption Center will be posted in store and on the Lexie’s Trading Post web site, and Facebook page.  Please check these websites or drop by the store for a “Wish List” of much needed donated items for the shelter.

“The Residential Treatment Program annually serves 70 of the most abused children in Kentucky ages 5-15. The children have experienced severe emotional, physical or sexual abuse, and/or neglect.  It was established in 1980, and serves girls and boys referred from the Kentucky Cabinet for Families and Children who are wards of the state. The children have special needs which may be emotional, behavioral, medical, intellectual or developmental in nature.
