Thanks to You!
What a day so far at the store. It has been non-stop with fans coming in and asking about the cream for dry skin...The Intensive Body Cream made from Shea Butter. Thanks to everyone for the wonderful comments about the article in the Courier Journal and for your support.
"Shea Butter, it does the body Good!"

Karen Crook and Lexie’s Trading Post will be Spotlighted in the “Features” section of the Courier Journal THIS Tuesday, October 11, 2011!!!
We are THRILLED to announce that Karen – and be extension – Lexie’s Trading Post will be a spotlight article in the Louisville Courier Journal this Tuesday, October 11, 2011! Karen has been interviewing all week with Christa Ritchie of The Courier-Journal. Thank you Christina! It’s all happened very fast, so we’re sorry for the late reminder – being a holiday weekend and all….
So this is just a subtle reminder to let you all know to keep an eye out in your local paper this Tuesday. The interview lasted quite a while, so we’re hoping it’s a great article. We haven’t seen it yet...
We discussed not only the current Lexie’s Trading Post, but also our BEAR'S to ER’s program, The Giggles Program, our first store (and its subsequent closure by the bank in the bank downturn of 2008-09, Karen’s Air Force Career as a Nuclear Missile Launce Officer, our own personal Skin Care Line, and on and on.
Let us know what you think. Also, for those who missed it or do not live in the Louisville, Kentucky area, we’ll shoot out the hyperlink to the article when it’s published.
We’re VERY grateful to the Courier Journal and especially Christa Ritchie for their interest and opportunity.
Best,
~ Gary & Karen Crook
